Ex-Ms. DS is from Bethpage & we would visit during holidays frequently, ended up going to a bunch of NYI games. This was late 00’s-early 10’s when they were trash so tickets were like $10. Still was a lot of fun. That fan base is like an SEC fan base.

The ABA New York Nets used to play there. Dr J, Bless his soul Wendell Ladner from USM/Hancock County, Super John Williamson(his son Maurice played for LSU) had some great looking uniforms. Kevin Loughery was their coach for a while.
