Yall busy talking about Joker and not realizing that Westbrook, Peyton Washington, and Jalen Pickett were 9 for 12 from behind the line.
That’s your game. Shooting anomaly of all shooting anomalies.
Kinda like Jokic going 2/10 from 3 the game before lol

Meh Michael Cage is a goofball. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Exactly. And Thunder ran away with it. Despite the fact SGA was actually very inefficient in that game too.

Jokic most assists in NBA since 2017…
Now that’s impressive…
Nah, he stat pads with handoff assists.

Malone not mincing words on the MVP race "If you didn't know Nikola had won 3 MVPs, and I put Player A and Player B on paper... he wins 10 times out of 10. And if you don't think so, you guys are full of shite."

Worst flop I’ve ever seen. Not my MVP.

Shai will get a voter fatigue MVP this year. Might as well put an asterisk by it.
Jokic has the opposite of voter fatigue. People keep making excuses for him and moving the goal posts in his favor.

He's playing better basketball than he has during his MVP years and has better numbers than SGA.

He leads in a few statistical categories but he doesn’t play defense. Shai has twice as many blocks and he’s 5 inches shorter.

Shai leads the nba in defensive win shares

Yeah he's only more efficient and a far better scorer and creator. Sga playing better defense is more valuable than allll of that lol

Delusional.

Well it’s not true so yeah, I’d say his defense is valuable.

What are the excuses?

He got outplayed Sunday and y’all said his elbow was injured.
After the game Malone said it was fine.
Then he had a good game last night and y’all are saying “this is what happens when his elbow’s not injured.”
It’s funny how y’all carry water for him and none of you are even Nuggets fans.

He’s really the only reason the Nuggets are competitive right now. Braun is playing good, but outside of that Murray has been hit and miss for two years, Porter has been shite for 3, Gordon has been injured, and Westbrook has been playing decent trying to be the KCP/Bruce Brown role. They’re going to have to blow it up at the end of the year, and I was hoping they would’ve done it after the Finals win.

Some of us appreciate great basketball players regardless of their favorite team and who actually watch the games, unlike others who are so clueless they post clips from another season
Posted on 3/11/25 at 12:50 pm to Stonehog
This is my first time posting in either thread so don't include me in the yall. I love SGA's game. Though there aren't really many excuses to be made for Jokic because he is 100% the better player and having a better season. hence the reason for my question. But SGA will get the MVP for sure. I don't really think the race is going on anymore. Voter fatigue set in before the season started.

We’ve already established that you don’t watch the games because you said Shai doesn’t play an enjoyable style of basketball. That’s such an asinine take that you should be embarrassed.
I’m wondering why you’re so desperate for Jokic to win MVP when you’re not a Nuggets fan? I want Shai to win because I’m a Thunder fan. What’s your reason for being so entrenched?

Jokic has a better ts% and PER, and better ast%
He's better on offense than Shai.
