Big East continues to implode. Georgetown and the rest of the small catholic schools should join the a-10. Would be a solid basketball league

Yep..wonder what this means for the Big10 match-ups??

Surely they will play USC.

So that's 6 games locked up. Do they continue Michigan/State to make it 8? What about the service academies?

ND is playing against 4 this year, not a big deal to get to 5...

Exactly, this is non-news. It's no different than them playing Big-10 teams every year and playing other sports in Big-East. Hell, they're schedule will probably get easier in the ACC.

Another reason to hate Notre Dame, just join the damn conference, your football team isn't that special.

Don't they usually play Stanford, too?

They have to know that no one really cares about them anymore besides NBC. Just get over your "tradition" and get with the times. If they were still a power, they might could still get away with this. Now it's just sad.

You're right.. so Stanford would make it 7.

Michigan/State would make it 9

Only two games that are not expendable are USC and Navy; ND will keep those two no matter what.

All others are not rivalry games...(even Michigan as those two are taking a break from the series in a few years).

So USC, Navy, and then add 5 ACC games which brings the total to 7 games. Plenty of flexibility with the remaining schedule.
