The clowniest country in this clown world is currently hosting a grand slam. Nine-time champion No-vax Djokovic is not in the draw. He is the first athlete ever to be banned for refusing to take drugs.

Nice work. They are running such a rinky dink operation that I can't find a printable PDF draw that fits on two pages. Every other major partners with IBM and has nice features like this.

I turned the draw photos into PDF. Maybe this will work.

Top Half

Bottom Half

Knew I forgot something. This stable genius is in the 3rd round.

That's all I wanted, a big picture view. I literally could not tell until the first two rounds were complete who was in what quarter.

So, I think there is a decent chance one of the Russians take out Rafa in the next two rounds, though we know KK is a choker. But, it's probably going to be an Alex/Rafa quarter. That draw seems heavy for the top half, especially if Djoker had played.

I'm kicking myself for not taking Mannarino over Hurkacz. I think the payout was huge for Mannarino and Hurkacz is weird because he is kind of a pusher who is vulnerable to anyone (yet can beat anyone). I had a feeling Mannarino's junk slap game could cause him problems.

I have some plays on Rafa at 5-1, Sinner 20-1, and Rublev 33-1 that I made after the first round. But, I would not mind seeing Alcatraz make a run to the final. This Cressy dude is playing some nice tennis.

It’s so ridiculous they had the tournament there. Talking with buddies at the tournament their is a lot of scuttlebutt it won’t be there next year….

I would love to see it get ripped away, but that is not happening. Where are all the players to stand up to the nonsense? They are mostly a bunch of cucks. The pandemic nonsense should be over by then (yeah, I now that may be naive), so I'm guessing the Happy Slam aspect is back. If this was such an imminent health crisis to do what they did to Novak, they should have cancelled it. But, they would rather go half capacity and make their money while they pretend they care about health.

Dubai is pushing hard as frick for it with the players committee

You think the lack of guaranteed pay is bad for golf, it’s ten times worse for tennis

The ATP needs to find a way to placate Dubai before they blow them up.

That's a good looking price on Sinner. I just can't see Rafa pulling this off. Not sure I would take him even at like 10/1. I know the "potential path" thing doesn't always play out like it does on paper, but having to go through Khachanov, Karatsev, and Zverev just to make the semis is pretty brutal.

Imagine if they replaced a medium paced hard court slam with Indian Wells, which is as slow as it gets. There would be deaths if they didn't move it to a cooler month.

Speaking of that, why DO they have the Australian Open in the heat of the summer? They could move it to April/May (their Autumn) and it would be more in line, time wise, with the other Slams.

I think it's right around their Labor Day, so they think it's best for their attendance. I would prefer it in March or April so that players have a longer off season and better preparation before the first major.

Benoit might be the most underrated crazy person in all of sports.

Dude is a legit nut job.

Benny P is the best.

So, Medvedev was giving the crowd some grief in his on court interview for booing between serves. He then called some of the fans "low IQ" in a later interview.

Droopy's scoreline with Cressy is vintage stuff. 7-6, 7-5, 6-7, 6-7, 6-4. It's crazy how his career hinges on so many tiebreaks.

I was just impressed he actually tried after being 2 down.

Droopy Dawg is the perfect nickname for that man also.

That's what I was thinking. The top of the draw was stacked and that's without Djokovic in it.

Medvedev had one of the easiest draws ever to the 2021 US Open final, and now he's on a very easy side of the draw in this one.

Yeah, I think Tsitsi is banged up, so that makes the bottom even weaker. Sinner has a great chance to go deep.

I feel dirty when I watch Anisimova.
