nearly everyone in the world has already missed their predictions….many of the “experts” were forecasting a Thunder sweep. Now the best the Thunder can hope for is a 4-2 win. It’s time to start talking about how great Rick Carlisle is. That Championship he won with the Mavericks is legendary. Dallas had one All Star (Dirk)…..Miami had D Wade, Lebron, Chris Bosh, and an excellent supporting cast.

I said before the series that the Pacers had looked better than the Thunder so far in the playoffs. I don’t know where the idea that OKC was a juggernaut came from. Denver beats them in 6 if they don’t score 7 points in the first quarter in game 4.

I always thought Pacers had a chance because of their depth, how potent their offense is, and how they bought in to playing defense this season.

And I'm still scarred from that 2011 Lakers/Dallas 2nd rd series so I'm just not picking against Carlisle in the finals. Can legit still see the 3s falling.

That 2011 run was incredible. Not only did they beat the Heat, they also swept the defending champion Lakers in the second round, and beat the Westbrook/HardenDurant Thunder team in the WC finals.

The next time anyone starts declaring the Thunder as the next great team and crowning them, they might want to make sure OKC can avoid Rick Carlisle.

Dallas had a great supporting cast with seven players shooting 34% of better from three that all took at least two threes a game.

Kidd was still a great floor leader getting the ball to Marion, Butler, Stojakovic, and Terry.

Well it could be because they won 68 regular season games….not many teams in NBA history have won more regular season games.

In the nba’s never ending quest to outstupid itself, the Pacers will fire Carlisle after they get beat in the second round next year.

Dallas won 67 in 2007, and lost in the 1st round. Avery Johnson had taken them to the Finals and lost to Dwayne Wade the year before. They lost to a Don Nelson coached Golden State team.

Game 4 is must win for IU. GAME 5 Is going to okc and Indiana needs that game 6 at home for the nba championship and not to try to force game 7
