I dont know about all this 'being a force' talk, but Tulane will stay in CUSA because it is a good fit for its other sports. They won't ever be a football contender, thanks to their admin, but they can still have a presence.

Kudos to Tulane. I'm a long time LSU fan, but I'd love to see the Greenies have a solid, competitive program.

I do, however, wonder about the lack of attendance. I know having the games in the Dome doesn't help, but that reason alone can't be enough to keep people from showing up. When Bowden was here and winning, I was surprised that more people didn't make the games. I can't remember that exact attendance numbers but they should have been more impressive, I thought. I guess a crowd of 30,000, though, would look anemic in the Superdome.

Anyway, I hope the program gets back on track.
