No one is saying Roy Williams can't recruit or isn't a great face for a program. He's a really nice guy.

no i fricking hate roy williams and if i had to make a top 5 for coaches i want tomorrow, he's not on my list. but if you are taking all current coaches and comparing their entire resumes, he makes my top 5 for that.

Yea I'm talking 5 the top 5 coaches in terms of their in-game ability and who I'd want to coach my team right now. Not long-term resumes or anything like that.

Izzo
Krzyzewski
Boeheim

are my top 3

followed by Donovan, Self, and Pitino in whatever order.

Theyve only got 2 losses this season and their on an 18 game winning streak

So yeah, they aren't awful and will be headin to the dance

LSU might not even be a top 4 team in Louisiana right now.

Nicholls agrees.

While I agree we arent very good, this aint football, that "awful" team we lost to, won 28 games last year and is sitting at 20-2 this year.....

But any of the 4 Louisiana Southland Conference teams could win the SLC bid to the dance. McNeese is 1st in the East, Southeastern is 4th and they're separated by a game and a half. I do suspect you'll see a little more separation take place. But i fully expect at least 3 of the 4 Louisiana schools in the SLC tourney...maybe all 4.
