Exactly. It won't take anymore than that, because the DNA was a near slam-dunk. And it sounds like the pictures are pretty damning. Any chance they will be made public?

About the bruising. She could also have easily inflicted her own bruises to make it look like she was attacked, even if they had just hooked up consensually. Is it wrong? Of course. But every dude on here runs that same risk whenever he hooks up with someone he doesn't really know.
Not saying she is faking it, because I believe Winston is guilty, but it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility.

I know it's a completely different situation, but how this shite has progressed reminds me of the Aaron Hernandez fiasco. It all started out "I'm sure this stuff isn't going anywhere and he wasn't involved blahblahblah" but as each day passes it's getting more and more sketchy.

So any time a white girl is involved in a rape case with photos taken by the hospital and Docs during a rape kit, we should take that with a grain of salt because white ladies bruise easily? Wow. Just wow. I would love to hear that in a court room. "But your Honor, white girls bruise easy." Thats just flat out dumb.

I understand the random bruise on the thigh or on the arm. But if there are multiple bruising on other parts of the body, obviously something happened and she didnt just walk into a door knob or something like that. Especially considering she went straight to the police right after this happened.

Jansen in his press conference when he was blasting all the agencies that could had leaked the report, he said they had plenty of evidence and affidavits regarding the victim they could had leaked to the public too, but chose to take the high road and let the justice system do it's job.
If you read between the lines, if Meggs tries and takes this to court there is going to be a massive fallout for the SAO IMO. There's plenty of cause for it. Like Meggs' statements before Jansen told him to hush his mouthing to the media and the leaked report of the DNA results.
Basically, if this girl doesn't stand by her original statement she could go to jail. Of course they are going to say she is sticking by the original statement. But the TPD fired back a shot and a threat that when the outcome is over they could make this really bad for the girl, because they too have evidence and reports of what took place. In a court of law, who is more trusted? A girl that's in college and had tweets showing fascination over meeting and being with football players, or a police department with statements and reports. Probably also some recordings of the accusation. Nothing has changed on either side of the coin here, the girl and her family still don't want this going any further, and Jameis' camp being extremely confident and not concerned.
Right now publicly Jamies is getting all the heat, but that's because it's only the accusers side that is leaking information and making statements. All those people on ESPN and other outlets that are grasping at straws and guessing, they are only going on what they have, probably hoping it would cause the defense to start talking. But that's not going to happen, because there's nothing more here than a girl getting put in the sidecar, getting pissed about it, making false accusations, and then when the TPD said, "hey, there are a few things we need to talk about, some things don't add up here and in this town if this doesn't end well for you the public pressure you're going to get could be devastating" the girl wants to drop the charges. If she was completely truthful why would she care? At that time Jameis was just a RS Freshman football player that had a great attitude people wanted to be around, regardless if he was a superstar, that's a personality that gets girls anyways.
There's nothing new here, and the only thing that would get Jameis charged is the fear from Meggs that his office would be scrutinized and accused of trying to cover it up. But If they are half smart, they'll take that right now instead of the major media storm that will actually do harm to that office when he's proven innocent. That would be really really bad for anyone of his Senior members that "advised" him to go forth with pressing charges with the evidence at hand. One of those people are going to be trying to take Willies seat soon. He's the one that publicly stated he would sit down and seek advise from his senior staff, their careers are on the line here.
There's a lot of information out there right now that can't be talked about or linked to because of rules on this board. But I can tell you that some of it down right pisses me off when I see it. I'll be glad when ALL the facts can be presented, when everything is known the people that are blasting Jameis are going to feel really really dumb and I can't wait to hear the spin or silence from them. I'll be glad when the specifics from the other side are paraded around to the media and the public.
One thing is for certain in my mind. Jameis is still that fun loving kid that everyone loves. Nothing he's done is any worse than what many of us did while in college. Consensual sex between two adults is pretty common I'd say. And to expect a 19yo to have a monogamous relationship with a girl that lives in Texas is asking a lot.
That's my last post on this Winston fiasco.

Hard to fake the kind of restraint bruises that would happen in a rape.
Also, if a woman is forcibly penetrated, she is going to have tearing and damage to her privates, externally and internally.
That's pretty hard to fake damage to look real enough.
