I think he is only posting what we know so far, and with the witness testimonies we have no clue what was said, and neither Jameis or his attorney has yet to say anything.

Was just scrolling through the ESPN Facebook comments on the story. The comments by fangirl Laurel Wilson had me rolling.

Jameis thought this girl was the Victim. When she wasn't.

So does that mean the witness statements were also about the wrong girl?

Probably makes sense since they were agreeing with Winston that it was just consensual. Maybe both were drunk? Nobody knows but thats just an idea thats floating around from what I've gathered on Twitter/TMZ

From fangirl Wilson:

It can't be FJ! He's 6'4" to the sky, not some 5'9" shrimp boat track star.

11/21/13:

What if you had consensual sex with a woman and she cried rape ..... she chased him around Potbelly's all night - followed him home in a taxi - yeah she was assaulted - the roommate walked in and she was on top - she was the aggressor - all ya'll just want to bash him ...... could happen to you one day

That would probably also explain why they collected another person's DNA (not victim) that Winston's lawyer said they did in the media interview.

Her BAC says she was not drunk

Police report said it was in an off campus apartment

People are claiming his roommate walked in on them, which would mean his statement was about sex in their dorm room, unless they have are allowed to live off campus as freshmen?

So is the victim a 2nd girl who Winston mistook for the girl witnesses said he had sex with earlier?

Or that's what happened. She fricked him. He was done and told her to get out and she gets pissed.

That's as plausible as what she is alleging at this point.

Okay...so let me see if I understand this rumor.

Jameis Winston thought the victim was the blonde girl in the photograph when it wasn't?

This makes no sense, thery have his DNA on her panties and Winstons lawyer is freely telling the world he had sex with her

Yes, but its just a rumor.

From putting two and two together here I think the scenario played out like this. Found this on scout.

"No idea, but just floating ideas. I believe the original report was that she was raped and she thought the guy was 5'9-5'11". She also said someone else was there. Could be that 2 guys "escorted" the young lady into a darkish room and she wasn't sure which one had sex with her, so she pointed out the guy she thought it was and that height supposedly matches one of the people giving a recent statement to police.

She had no idea who Winston was, but later recognized him and named him as one of the guys. Both guys would be guilty of a crime if they were present in the room where the rape occurred. I'm a bit surprised, if reports are true, that the other guy in the room didn't lawyer up before talking to police.

I originally thought the height discrepancy on her description was tied to her being intoxicated, but the tox report says she wasn't legally drunk. Now I am wondering if the height description was for the other guy because she wasn't sure which one raped her.

The other explanation could be that it was both, but you'd think she would know that and have put that in her original statements."

Would explain why the roommates were backing Winston, if they all thought the victim was the girl in the TMZ image.

Not sure if posted before, but I found this on Tomahawk Nation. Take from it what you will, but I found it interesting.

quote:

I'm not an attorney and I certainly don't pretend to be, but I am a law enforcement officer who happens to be located in Tallahassee and I deal with state attorneys on a regular basis (specifically in that office). My opinion, which in reality is worth almost nothing, is quite mixed with this whole situation. Part of me feels Winston will not be charged and part of me feels he will be charged and found not guilty. While both have the same outcome, both diverge greatly at their core. I work side by side with attorneys on a daily basis; Some good, some not so much. After watching this video I have a strong feeling Winston will be charged. While having knowledge of how the law works, there is sufficient evidence with the mere claim of sexual assault as well as DNA to take this specific case to trial. I do not believe Winston would be convicted, but I have certainly seen strange things before. Some cases I have are slam dunks and for whatever reason the attorney feels the need to not prosecute. Whether that be because of the unknown factor “can I win in trial?”, I’m not sure. I can tell you the state pays like crap and the majority of those working in any state attorneys office would much rather be private attorneys, such as Jansen, and make their money. Because of that, the W vs. L record in that courtroom matters. Most defense attorneys were public defenders or prosecutors at some point I’m their career. Just my opinion about that; take it for what it’s worth.

My opinion of this video is not comforting. I do believe Winston will be charged after seeing Mr. Meggs. I believe there will be a media outcry if Meggs does not at least charge him. At the end of the day he could say “hey, I did my job, let his peers figure out if he is guilty.” Meggs is a public, elected official. So I am not sure how this would affect his approval rating, so to speak. I think it’s a double edged sword. I think charging him would anger many residents of Leon County, however the inverse is possible if he is not charged. I think the investigation by TPD was horrendous. I think there is a lot of information that has not been leaked. Remember, dirt sells in the media world. I do think that evidence was scarce in the beginning of this investigation, thus charging Winston was not appropriate. Being a law enforcement officer, we are not afforded the luxury to let our opinions control our actions. I think a lot of things about individuals I arrest or investigate. Those thoughts cannot control my actions. If dumb people could be arrested for merely being dumb, there would be no room in our jails.

I sure do hope my feeling about this case is incorrect. As a lifelong fan, I would hate to see such a bright future be halted for a mistake that May or may not have been made. Moreover, as an officer, I hope true justice is served, whatever the outcome.
