The next fricking night my phone rings and it's her brother screaming bloody murder at me telling me he's gonna kill me and expect police because I rape his fricking sister. Jesus I'm pissed just writing this. The count got the number off my phone on purpose to do this. Girls/people are simply nuts man. Sometimes his can do the right things in these situations and still be screwed. My roommate called back went over to their house and everything got settled, thank goodness.

How the hell was it a brag post? Everyone and their mom knows someone who has played minor league baseball. I got there and sucked.
My one story doesn't negate anything but you seem to fail to understand that men are ALWAYS at risk of having their lives ruined. Rape is a horrible thing an it happens every single day but that doesn't change the fact that there is a problem with what rape actually is an how it's handled legally and in the public eye.

All you're story proves is your room mate picked a trashy girl to bring home. The issue is that victims of rape are made to feel ashamed/afraid to come forward by people like you that dismiss every rape claim before hearing facts. Also, you playing minor league baseball had no bearing on that story so yeah it was a brag post.

Updated OP. Was unaware that the FSU PD was the first alerted and arrived at the girls dorm room at 3:22am.
They in turn notified TPD since the assault took place in an off campus apartment

But someone stated earlier that it happened at her place, etc...

Rittdog, what you posted is what i think is the truth. I think the girl made a poor decision, and then immediately noticed her mistake and did the right thing and was honest with police, thus the case being dropped. Now some reporter got a hold of it and his trying to make this the cover up of the century. I honestly do not think the TPD would cover for a football player. They would not risk their careers to save a real rapist in my opinion.

It was to show he and I were prime targets for some piece of shite to pull this on.
I don't get the "afraid/ashamed" thing. Nobody makes fun of people getting raped. The ashamed part is because being raped is a horrible thing and is probably very embarrassing.
But people jump to conclusions in every single type of accusation no matter what it is. Murder, fraud, everything. People aren't afraid to speak out about those because they aren't embarrassing.
