I didn't always use my faculties for good.

They got Outstanding Sixth Grader right. That award was so much more than academics.

On my Iphone now. When I get back home Sunday, i'm going to look you up on here and exchange contact info. So much to catch up on.

You are kind, sir. Look forward to catching up. My wife and I adopted a young man who will be two in a couple of weeks. I'm tired, but happy. Talk soon.

I can close my eyes and see him slicing through defenses. Ask him about the Cardiac Kids and their run in the playoffs. He scored on about a 70 yd screen pass with 20 seconds left to keep the season alive.

My uncle and godfather was on that staff. Did you know he had an older brother Alton who played D-1?

He's told me some stories. I think he said his brother played at Northeast La, but I don't remember if it was their champ year.

Well, LSU then was not LSU now.

Whereas we now hold a reputation for 2 sport stars, this was not the case back in the day. Hector held the national triple jump record in high school, and was a serious Olympic contender.

A&M offered both sports, LSU refused to allow him to compete in field. My uncle was the track coach.

Now, that's not to say that JH didn't take advantage of the situation. Lol

I think his senior year was 1978 actually.

They were eliminated from the state playoffs by Lee HS (Mike Dellacano, Al Richardson, Eugene Daniels et al)

78 or 79 didn't matter.. purple knights were winning state no matter what..
