The transfer portal is the biggest issue. NFL players are at least on some sort of leash. College players can jump ship anytime they want to with zero consequences.

Love controlling other humans don't you? This is the consequence of you buying young HS talent that have zero affiliation with your schools. The only thing these kids( especially Black kids) know is that they like a certain p5 school because of seeing them on tv or proximity to their homes. . Their parents , grandparents, etc...weren't allowed near these campuses & most have almost zero affiliations until recruiters show up.

“He wants to go coach football again in a league that is all about football,” a source told ESPN. “College coaching has become fundraising, NIL and recruiting your own team and transfers. There’s no time to coach football anymore." - Pete Thamel

Not a lot of jobs out there paying in the high six, low seven figures. College coaches will get over it.

The vacuum isn’t going to be filled with coaches, it’s going to be filled with babysitters and marketers and politicians

If nothing else, we will see more circus leaders like Deion who have little to no coaching pedigree leading recruits to his program with all of the flash. Prime will handle the recruiting aspect of the game and he will let his other coaches worry about the X’s and O’s.

NIL is an abomination to football purists so it makes sense. Just a shame certain people couldn’t leave well enough alone.

This is the problem with your grievance grift. Following it like a religion makes you retarded. The last SEC school to integrate integrated in 1965. The last SEC school to integrate their entire athletic department did so in 1972. "These kids( especially Black kids)" (as you put it) looking at schools were likely born in 2007 (maybe some upper classmen in 2002ish).

I think it's a stretch to even say their grandparents "weren't allowed near these campuses", but I'll let you maybe have a little bit of that just so I don't have to say that you're completely retarded. I'll leave you to do the math so you understand why (but I don't have much hope).

Bye, these HCs get paid handsomely to manage young men and NIL is the new thing on their plate, so deal with or there will be another coach who will
