Agreed...and theres 20 brands out there, many for half the price, that accomolish the same results without politically offending the customer base.

The early flag has also been appropriated by some extremist groups opposed to increasing diversity, The Wall Street Journal reports. The outlet noted a local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored people spoke out against its use after a Michigan school district apologized when students waved it at a football game in 2016.
So much much petty bitchiness

Sounds like he saved Nike from putting out an ugly shoe.

Not surprising.
American Slavery existed under the Stars and Bars for 4 years.
It existed under the Stars and Stripes from July 1776 to December 1865.
Of course, it existed under the Union Jack from 1619 to 1776, but I suspect he wouldn't say shite about that.
And I also bet he embraces the flags of the African countries for the people that actually captured and sold other Africans into slavery.
Because he is a fricking dumbass that is emboldened by other dumbasses.

Bobert, why do you hate America? Is it because your social security check isn't as big as you thought it would be?

Giving in to the lunatic fringe is a bad idea. I expect Nike will catch backlash for this. Finding out this was Kaepernicks idea will only intensify things.

I'd imagine it's a slavery thing?
Ironic considering the company Kaep is a spokesman for probably uses Asian slave labor to line their pockets.

New Balance generally speaking is my go-to sneaker brand of choice if I'm not wearing boat shoes or loafers but you guys are making me want to go out and purchase some Air Maxes for the 4th
I like the look of these 97s!

Yes because it's completely normal to be so triggered still by kap and Nike.
Carry on being so offended and acting like you won't buy Nike because of this even though you didn't buy Nike before. The virtue signalling here is hilarious.

It's especially silly considering Nike releases plenty of "America" colorways on pretty much all of their shoes
This is definitely marketing and everyone in this thread is a sucker

Not delicare at all. They made a public statement and i understand who they consider their target customer. I am not in that target. No big deal, ill just continue what ive been doing for years. Not buy Nike.
And you are an absolute liar if you tell me a business in your town could piss you off, and youde still be a customer, even though there are aeveral like businesses with equal or superior products
