Good to see the Wild getting some national exposure. They have the second best record in hockey, and they are running away with the Central.
But that offside call was total BS. This is super offside:

pretty odd for only one game, yeah. there's 11 tonight at least
STL @ TOR and DAL @ OTT are pretty important
CBJ is hosting a reeling Vancouver team who is desperate for a win.
Nashville @ Rangers should be great game
Islanders @ Philly is on NBCSN ... at least the Islanders are playing great hockey lately

What are the chances that the Ducks win the Pacific and the Blues stay in the first wild card?
I'm planning on going to St Louis on April 17 and will try to catch a Blues playoff game while there and I would love for it to be against Anaheim.

could easily happen. Anaheim only trails San Jose by 4 points. But Edmonton is right there with anaheim
st Louis will have to beat out Calgary and LA Kings , which is certainly possible.
a few Blues fans who post in this thread aren't as optimistic about the Blues chances , however.
the west wildcard standings are really close and theres a lot of hockey left to play. ~30 games for roughly every team

Washington is -240 tonight
they were -260 but people saw too much value on the red wings side I suppose. Wash has to drop one eventually... right ?

Why have the Blues just feel off the cliff?
Is it bad goalie play? Bad scheme? Injuries?

Goaltending sucks. Defense sucks.

gave up too many goals and their top 4 Defenders have garbage +/- ratings, compared to last year. Shattenkirk probably wakes up every day wondering if he's been traded or not
however, since they made a coaching change, their goalies suddenly are playing A LOT better and their record reflects it
they won in Ottawa 6-0 the other night and have a game in Toronto tonight that they can easily win. They are for sure a legit wildcard contender and might could even catch Nashville for the 3 spot in the central

Haven't followed him since he left. But I was surprised to find out how bad Elliot has been for you.

wildly inconsistent. sometimes he plays like a veteran starter, sometimes like a fringe AHLer .
Theres speculation we may trade for Bishop or Fleury due to Elliot not being serviceable enough but IDK.
overall hes been OK in the backup role but Calgary needs more out of him if we're gonna make the playoffs
11-13-2 with a 2.85 GA and .895 SV% is pretty garbage.
for instance, we beat the wild 5-1 with Moose in net, but lose 0-4 to Toronto in the same week

let all of their grit go as free agents, have a flawed roster this season, poor gm, and players virtually threw hitch under the bus to get yeo on the bench as HC.
Players were listening to yeo, and ignoring Hitch. locker room was toxic.

Blues seem to be gaining some speed now.
A lot of things went south towards the end with Hitch.
Yeo has a line for Senko which I absolutely love. This should get things going. Blues haven't allowed a goal in 2 games which is good to see.
I do believe we make the playoffs.

as bad as the Centers have been all season, he should of been up months ago.
lehtera, you can only hope Vegas picks him, takes on his contract to get to cap floor. they will need a couple bad contracts for salary cap purposes. I'd love to see the blues offer him and a pick to vegas, in return a bag of used pucks.

Maybe they could throw in a Hat Trick Hat collector girl too.

only if she scores a 2 of higher

I'm not too high on Barbashev, honestly.

when lehtera, stastny, and berglund are ur top3 centers, it doesnt take much to get excited about.
and barbashev should fit perfectly on the 3rd line once trades are made and players sent and brought in.
i dont think barbashev is a top3, but his ceiling is #2 center, if he continues to improve his game.
