Problem is, Armstrong still believes in Allen. And now, they are handcuffed to him for years to come. It will be interesting to see what kind of haul Shattenkirk returns.

Anyone any good in minors to push Allen? Don't know much about Copley or Binnington. Wish there was a way to read about NHL minor league systems like Baseball America evaluates MLB.

Nope, not for a few years. Scouts really like that young fin, but he has a few years before he can come up.
The only way to push with allen with a non-trade would be to have a more consistent Hutton. He shown he can be a starter, and hes shown he can be a backup minor league goalie. Sorta like Allen
