Wish I was older to have truly celebrated that one. The early teens just isn't quite the same as being able to tie a number on during the series and at the parade

that was one of the best defensive teams i have ever seen. beast shot blockers, hatcher, ludwig, zubov, sydor and eddie the eagle was a beast that year. then you had hull, modano, joe New, and langenbrunner.

i hated buffalo and hasek. they killed us in 98 playoffs.

Fatty it’s been this way since 1999. I can’t recall them having a premier scorer since the early 80’s...the last cup winner was a group effort scoring with Kirk Muller getting clutch goals

The G Force with Gomez and crew scored in bunches at times I suppose

Hatcher is still my favorite Star and it's not even close. You didn't lay a finger on Modano because you knew Hatcher was always lurking.

Meanest Star possibly ever, nicest guy off the ice

we used to have a highly ranked Pp back in 2007? 2010 conference finals year? or 2014 conference finals year? somewhere in that timeframe. we could score on PP but were bad at even strength. all a blur now. now? PP is terrible.

we scored on PP with kovalev, souray, even PK over the years. that is going way back though to 2007 and before.

I tend to forget the 14 group because it robbed them of a title by that dirty hit on CP31by Kreider

Gomez group in 10-13 was good sometimes but they’d disappear at times

14 was
Plekanc
Parentau
Pacioretty
Desharnsis

That right?

David Desharnis was a legit midget who would mix it up with anyone

The NHL has the best promos. That one about the Stanley Cup couple years ago after they won the cup was the greatest

I always like this one the best (even though I can't stand the Blackhawks). I guess it hits home as he is about my age and can remember dreaming about winning the Cup, putting on the pads for the first time, etc.

Let's frick some shite up here Hawks. Bonus, getting the hometown broadcasting duo of Pat Foley and Eddie O

Downside, they're doing the game remotely so will likely be a delay. The fact that they can't have the hometown guys in the building to call it is just dumb.
