As a bit of an expert on playoff gut punches, that was one of the worst gut punch losses I have ever seen. It took me back to Game 5 of Caps/Rangers in 2012, but at least that last second goal only forced OT, didn't lose the game. Just a back-breaking goal in a game the Isles had to win.

I was on the NHL reddit when it happened...I felt their pain. I mean I was waiting for them to finally score and end my pain because I thought we were going to be in trouble going to OT with 9 forwards and end up getting more people injured.
Then..bam. I woke up the kiddo screaming my head off. Pissed my girl off but it was absolutely worth it.

I'll be watching Medvedev-Thiem tomorrow. Watching three sports at a time is about as much as I can do at this age, March Madness is the only exception
