Panarin stuff seems like a negotiating tactic. Don’t move him and throw a huge contract at him in September.

Penguins have 2 trade offers on the table for Phil Kessel. Kessel said today he is okay with a trade.

He wants to go to Arizona but that won't be possible.

They aren't going to go full-tank. Half-tank? Definitely. Mostly-tank? Sure.

They are offering Green a few options for both a 1 or 2 year contract. We're already bad as it is, and you still need to try to sell some tickets. We have a few contracts that are set to run out in about 2 years. So that will set us up to be able to make a ton of moves with a ton of cap space. Kronwall has 1 year left. Ericsson and Daly both have 2 years left. If Green comes back for 1 or two years, that would mean 4 of our 5 highest paid defenders will be out of contract within the next two years (and none of those 4 are really that good right now and will only be worse 2 years from now). Depending on his health, Green could still be a bargaining chip at the trade deadline next season.

Payroll

Yep. Bolland falls off next year, but OEL’s raise kicks in, Hjalmarsson is getting a raise, and Perlini, Dvorak, and Chychrun all will be off ELC. Have 18m of space now but all of those will eat into that. Doesnt make sense to outlay 6.8m for 31 year old Phil Kessel unless they’re gonna fight for the cup this year.

It's been six years since us Coyotes fans can walk with our heads up and chests out. It's been an amazing week of chirping Canadians on twitter.

Austin Watson charged with domestic assault.

ETA: Looks like he was part of anti-domestic violence campaign just in the past year
