I thought the goalie tandem worked really well last year. If Allen flops or gets hurt Blues are screwed. Elliot's contract wasn't that much either. Bad trade.

Elliott asked for the trade. He wanted to be clear number one and if that was not going to happen in St Louis he wanted to be moved. Wish granted.

with the last CBA, lowering age of year to be a UFA, teams are locking up their young players after their first contract is up, and they begin their first rfa year.
I think it used to be, u had to be 28 or 30 to get ur first UFA contract. Now it's 26?

I'd take RNH and Yakupov for shattenkirk.

I just don't see it with Yakupov, but Dubnyk and Schultz are two names that come to mind who have done better after getting traded from there.
