Best game of the day is the Denver BC game - 2-1 going into the third. These teams hate each other it’s a great atmosphere

I saw the end of it. While I understand not wanting to go up against the Final 4 this weekend, I wish there wasn't such a long layoff. Play the Frozen 4 on Friday. And the title game on Sunday.

I just got home in time to see Fowler keep the winning streak alive. I thought this team was dead a month ago.

Just saw a stat that the Red Wings haven’t made the playoffs since 2016.
Anyone else think that’s crazy for such a storied franchise?

I think it’s crazy, yeah.
Also saw Anaheim hasn’t made it since 2018 and SJ since 2019. Anaheim felt loaded in 2017, with depth and young talent.
SJ was an old roster at the end of the window, but what the frick happened to Anaheim.

The future appears bright for Anaheim and San Jose at least for now

Canes/Caps game was fun. 1 more regular season game that should be interesting as well.

Panthers losing a lot of games the latter half of the season from stupid decisions on defense and inability to find the back of the net. I don't like this going into the playoffs

Canucks drop a critical game to the Kraken… 5-0.
The Kraken rolled out a lineup full of youngsters and they skated circles around the Canucks. They played hungry tonight.

Canucks are done - the West teams are wrapped up just a few seeding questions left to be decided
I want Toronto-Ottawa and Tampa-Florida in the Atlantic Bracket
Colorado played a god awful game last night; I went to sleep with 13 minutes left in the third down 0-2 and they ended up somehow winning in the shootout. Tonight they play back to back against a desperate Columbus team that lit them up the first week of the season.

The West has some solid teams. I always feel like the media sleeps on the West… but man… the Stars, Jets, Avs, VGK, Oilers… even the Wild and Kings are tough. The Flames can goalie you on a good night, too.
Related to that… in order for one of the weaker teams to move up into the playoff ranks, one of the aforementioned teams needs to slip. I don’t see that happening anytime soon. There’s a lot of talent of these teams and a good bit of it is young talent.

Oh… and I 100% agree. This would be must-see TV!

Cale just hit 30 goals - first time for a defenseman since 08-09
Two more goals and he will set the cap era record for a defenseman
Unfortunately, very unlikely he gets 100 points (he would need 2pts a game or something for the rest of the season)
Give him the Norris now (Hughes doesn't play penalty kill so I don't want to hear it; Werenski had a great run but fell off)

Blues matched Winnipeg for longest streak this season.

i said it when holloway and broberg were signed, via offered sheet, they would be great pick ups.
you got 2 top 10 picks/player, and Edmonton spent 3+ years developing them for you, and gave them playoff, stanley cup experience.
Let Holloway heal, give the 2 kids time, Kid from Minnesota has one hell of a shot, and gets it off quickly. Had puck not bounced, he would of buried that shot last night, goalie was able to recover to catch flailing puck. just missed it. My question was always, was he that good, or were the other studs he played with him, the reason he looked good? Well, he's good, could be a really good nhl sniper.

Sunggerud has looked good too
Needs to adjust to the physical grind of the NHL but he has shown some really nice offensive chops. Needs to settle into system in neutral zone and break outs out of the d zone.
Things are looking up in St Louis..."what rebuild"

More good news. Holloway isn't seriously hurt. And the Wild lost again.
