Put in Logan Thomas already... never thought I'd be saying that.

His play has regressed though, for whatever reason.
injuries, mediocre o line (though they have gotten much better), mediocre receiving targets, not great offensive coaches

Probably some other reasons too

I seriously think Anthony Jennings might be better...

I thought I didn't have to watch Anthony Jennings anymore this year.

We might have gotten away with that one

The only panthers fan in this thread to admit it may have been a poor call

SO consistency HAS been lacking this year for sure.

I think it has to do with his inconsistent footwork. He sails a lot of balls for some reason, but also throws some beautiful ones

Still the second scariest QB in the south

How do you have less than 100 yards passing through 3 quarters with Larry Fitzgerald to throw to?

And what receiver did they state was in the area like they normally do?
They didn't give a number. Either the tackle was eligible on the play, There was receiver you couldn't see on the screen or they got it wrong. However, they did mention it.

I'm starting to feel sorry for Lindley. Carolina just needs to run the ball and take time off the clock

Who's going to be the "Gruden Grinder"?

I predict Ed Hoculi (sp)*

I think they're just praying for defensive touchdowns at this point.

inconsistent footwork.
This is big too. An issue he has had since AU. Throws off of his back foot a lot.

He's actually well behind both Brees and Ryan is career QB rating.

I won't pretend to know the first thing on QB footwork. I do wonder how long his body can withstand the punishment it takes on a weekly basis in the league. Even more so for him since he is often depended on to run as much as throw. The way he has come back from ankle surgery, rib injuries and a back injury from the accident has been remarkable. He is a once in a generation freak of nature IMO. Just not sure how long his body can keep that up. I honestly don't think he will be able to play in the league as long as Brady or Luck or Manning or other pure pocket passers. That's another reason why I root for him to do well in the time he has in the league. That, and I'm a former BOA Panthers PSL owner

mediocre o line

There is merit to this. Our O-line play has been :barkley:

The result is Cam trying to get rid of the ball so fast he's inaccurate or throws it too hard.

Losing Smith hurt more than some Panther's fans like to admit, as well.
