The problem with the Trump was was always centered around the statute itself. It's so vague and permits so much leeway that you will get absurd results.

The James case is much more straight forward with the only real variable in play being the fraud component, which they should be able to show with documentary evidence. Clearly there is no wild card like the vague statute in the Trump case.
