It looked like the ball rolled over his forearm. No clue how they thought that was 100% incomplete. If anything, it looked more likely than not an INT

The ground didn’t “aid” that catch the ground was just there as he was catching it 
you can barely even tell which part of the ball is on the ground and which was still on his forearm, the 1st down cam is all distorted and grainy
