. They still have 2 or 3 more seasons in Oakland; which is really stupid. The Chargers are moving into a 30K MLS stadium; there is no reason in the world why the Raiders couldn't throw a little $$$ into UNLV's stadium and play there. If they were worried about the heat they could play road games, home night games, and their "home game" in Mexico City during the first 6 weeks of the season.

Could, but UNLV gets to share the Raiders stadium when its done so they'd be dumping money into something that would be torn down or used for something else in just a few years.

The only legit issues they had with the UNLV stadiums were the capacity and the looker rooms were not up to NFL standards. The capacity is not that big of an issue after the Chargers moved to the Stubhub center and how expensive could it be to fix up a locker room?
