The NFL lost me when they let Kapernick wear those disgusting socks yet forbade the Cowboys from wearing patches honoring the murdered police officers in Dallas. I'm never going back

Sports and politics have been intertwined since before whites let blacks start competing with/against them. Sports has not been immune to sweeping social change, as all areas of life have had to reckon with its demons, perceived or otherwise.
