Other than something like the Mexico City debacle we're seeing, why would I as a fan have any issue with that?

If Trump builds the wall can he keep Goodell in?

NFL is our sport and nobodies else's Screw all other nations. I don't even it want it that pansy country Canada.

Think of the players as well, would you want to live in XYZ third world shite bag Mexico City??

I met Goodell, that POS, at the HOF in Canton a few years ago and in front of a large group of people the only thing I could think to say to him, was, "no more foreign games or teams" and everybody around laughed at him, not me, he was pissed but shook my hand none the less.

He is the worst thing that ever happened to the NFL.

If the nfl puts a team in Europe they need to put an entire division there to make logistics significantly easier. That would give the euro division 11 games on their continent. Whatever teams were playing the euro teams could do it in a week or back to back weeks. You could add another bye week for the week after.

With that being said I don't think there should be teams out of the US.

Agreed, I think you'd have to make 4 new teams and a new division. I've wondered how it would even work just adding one more team. What division would you even put them in? How does a division with 5 teams even schedule games? Seems like that'd be a competitive disadvantage for the teams in it as well.

London needs a team.

As long as the Bills play in Buffalo, Toronto doesnt need a team.

The Jags will move to London soon and I think that will be the last NFL franchise move or expansion for awhile.

Just one team in europe would be terrible. Why not make it 4 that way you have all of the divisional games there.

I think you start small, put a team in Canada.

IF there was going to be some expansion, it would be massive (8 teams) or it would take a reshuffling of divisions (couldn't have 4 team divisions if 2 total teams added.)

So if there was going to be a massive 8 team expansion (which isn't likely anytime soon though,) I would think:

London - I think the NFL really wants this
Toronto - Has the population density and financial metrics.
Tokyo - Same as above.
Berlin - Same as above
Portland -
San Antonio - Top10 city in nation by population density.
St Louis - Big enough to have a winning franchise.
Oklahoma City - metrics are there.

Outlier:
Mexico City - Tonights MNF got me thinking, stadium looks packed, but I think this is a terrible idea. Some player/coach's family would get kidnapped.

I'm also assuming Raiders are moving to Las Vegas soon. Otherwise Vegas could definitely get a new team, and possibly LA could get another team (replacing Portland on that list.)

Doesn't Azteca Stadium in Mexico City have a chain-linked barbed wire fence around the field?

I mean, between that, the altitude, and the pollution...what free agent would choose to go to a place like that?

If we're talking about cities inside the U.S. that could use a team: San Antonio should definitely be on the short list.

Some others would be Portland, OR; Columbus, Ohio; Memphis, TN; Albuquerque, NM; El Paso, TX; St. Louis, MO; and Austin, TX.

If I was in charge of adding 8 teams to the NFL in North America, I would move the Bills to Toronto and add teams in Quebec, Montreal, Ottawa, San Antonio, Mexico City, Portland, St. Louis, and Memphis.

In this scenario, the Bills get moved to the new Canadian division which is in the AFC. Baltimore takes their spot in the AFC East. Indianapolis moves to the AFC North, and Memphis moves to the AFC South. St. Louis replaces Las Vegas in the AFC West.

Then, Portland replaces Arizona in the NFC West. Arizona joins the new desert division with Mexico City, Las Vegas, and San Antonio.

adding 8 teams to an already diluted league sounds like a bad idea.

These foreigners need to figure out grass before they worry about having an NFL team.

I think the dilution issue has everything to do with the new CBA. The problem is there isn't enough practice time. That's why the offenses look sloppy, the defenses look simple, and few of the young offenses seem to have any cohesiveness. The QB's and WR's are out of sync, as are the linemen and RB's. The conditioning has gone completely to shite because they simply aren't allowed to practice together enough as a unit.

If this were fixed, we wouldn't have this problem.

Think about it: haven't you noticed how little QB's who entered the league post new CBA have progressed? Have any of them shown any progress at all? Most have plateaued or regressed, likely because they simply don't get to practice enough with their units. Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, RG III, Russel Wilson, ect are all playing worse this year, than they did when they came into the league in 2012. In the 2014 class, Derek Carr is the only one playing right now and showing signs of progression.

The CBA must be revised or else the quality of the game will continue to suffer.

This man is spot on. London had their chance a long time ago when there were several pro teams over there. But they couldn't even support the teams there.
