Never being a top QB for a long time does not make you a HOFer.

Happy for him. Not the award we wanted this year but the dude deserves his acccolades

Still insane that the MVP got only 1 vote for offensive POY and wasn’t first team All NFL.

They actually seemed to truly vote for the most valuable player with the award.

I mean Lamar had 8 all pro/pro bowl teammates

Allen had 1

He’s in the top five of some categories for QBs already in the hall of fame. This isn’t much of a debate.

That don't mean shite. Derek Carr has better numbers Joe Montana. How is Carr against his peers? Very average. How was Eli against his peers? Good but never exceptional.

We’re talking hall of fame, not season by season mvp
shouldn't you have been considered elite for your era to be considered elite all-time?

why not? we're not talking about what will likely happen but what should happen. Why should someone who wasn't elite for their era be in the HOF? Because they played a long time?

Beat the best ever twice. So you can’t have a conversation about him with manning. That’s how many view the hall of fame.

And he turned it on when it counted.

Should every player with 2 Super Bowl rings be in the HOF?

I think team success should be used as a weight of someone is right on the brink

A qb with these stats in modern football isn’t right on the brink

60.3%—242 yards/g—1.56 tds/g—1.04 int/g—84.1 rsting

However, I would say the stats below would suffice to use their team success to put them over the edge

64.4%—257 yards/g—1.69 tds/g—0.85 int/game—93.5 rating
