NFL has 3 games for the 3pm slot today.

I really would like the NFL to move some Eastern and Central time zones games to 3pm to give more balance to the viewers. Do not know why they do not do that. 3 games at the 3 pm slot sucks.

Done intentionally to send the featured late game to as many people as possible. Then the network and the NFL can brag about how big the ratings are for that game.

The mid afternoon games are supposed to to be Fox or CBS’ “game of the week”.

That makes sense unless you primarily watch RedZone. Then you’re kinda getting screwed when they’re only 2 or 3 games in the late window.

Advertisers don’t like redzone. This is done intentionally to make more folks watch one game with the big money spent on ads for that game.

Yeah, I usually turn it off after the early window. Detroit should be late afternoon as there is a Tigers game next door at the same time. It will be a mess down there.

I always hated that too when I had the Sunday Ticket. If there are dud games, the viewing options are too limited.

Yea I like watching games when the sun is setting and it's beer 30. They definitely need more games at 4 instead of 1.
