The helmet rule makes these throwback jerseys a lot harder too pull off. You’d have to paint and redecal the helmets in back to back weeks to do an old AFL throw back for some teams

Not going to lie, unless the Saints were playing, Color Rush is the only reason i tuned in on Thursday nights. It was entertaining the sometimes good but mostly terrible uniforms on display.

Despite what a typical helmet may cost, to us plebians, the NFL and the clubs can afford a second set of helmets.
