I'm kind of glad it didn't happen. Just not sold on any of these QBs this year. They'll likely still get one of them at #7

Skoronski is the best OL in the draft and the Raiders love him. Haven't heard much at all about Johnson and the Raiders.

Plus they already re-signed Parker at RT and the biggest hole is RG (Skoronski).

Gotcha. I thought you meant as a tackle

Nah Skoronski projects at guard not tackle in the NFL.

If he’s going 7th then he’s projecting at tackle more than likely. Guards going top 10 is pretty rare in todays game

Some teams have a hard cut off with arm length and will want him at guard but there’s a number of teams that don’t care about that as much and likely view him as a tackle prospect with how fluid he is in his drops

Raiders will draft for need they don't currently have a RG and just re-signed last years RT. It is well known Skoronski is much much better at guard than tackle. NFL execs actually go as far to say he is a yearly all pro guard but an average tackle.

quote:

Skoronski’s arm measurement was 32 1/4”. That will move him inside to guard. Currently there are only 2 tackles playing in the League with arms shorter than 33”, and both measured longer than Skoronski. At tackle, arm length is imperative

Broncos just signed Jarrett Stidham to backup Russell Wilson at QB.

Also shopping Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler…with high asking prices.

Don’t think Dremont Jones will get that much money, but he has to be excited with seeing those numbers.

Crazy how much worse he ended up than Miller. Score one for the old Raiders regime.

Thanks, Elway, for drafting Jeudy over Jordan Jefferson. Good call. Chubb over Josh Allen too.

Still would like to keep Sutton around.

I’ve seen it much more split across the board from what I’ve read. There’s always these kind of tweeners and teams care about it differently than others

My point was if he’s getting selected at guard, it likely won’t be at 7, just given positional value, especially if it’s an unanimous as you say, as there are a number of tackle hungry teams right below the raiders that would be competing for the top tackles in the draft which will likely still be there after the run on QBs
