His YPA is slightly ahead of Ryan, whom Saints fans constantly label a "game manager."

Matt Ryan isn't on any of those list. We throw the ball downfield a pretty good bit and Brees is the best at it.

His int % by attempts isn't bad at all, he still needs to cut out the turnovers. I give him a pass for last year and 2010 though

To be honest, I don't care one way or the other if Chip makes it...I just had to poke fun at people blowing their loads after 1 half and literally calling him a top 5 HC in the NFL

Some of yal really struggle to read.

No one ever said that.

Regardless of the system, 3 games in that span will wear any team down. Kelly's is exaggerated, but he can't change his system cause the NFL boned them.

So far the Kelly supporters have said he needs the exact perfect QB and the exact perfect timing of the schedule before things really take off

I don't think asking for the standard week in between playing games is asking for the perfect schedule.

Did KC have the standard week for prep?

I honestly don't get the points you're trying to make, Chip can't adjust to the players he has and his shortcomings on defense?

How do you adjust in one offseason to having an attrocious defense?

Huh? Their offense is like 3rd in the league. How are they not having success?

Hey, coaches who face their former team in the very next season are 2-4 including this win counting the last 6 coaches to do it...that's one excuse you can throw out the window

And let's not forget, Eagles are still considered a dream team on offense...not like Kelly is working with the Browns

Lol, how are they working with a dream team on offense?

They have a STUD RB. Outside of that they have ok WRs, a decent QB, and an attrocious OL.

You have weird dreams if you think that's a dream offense.

I was more contending the "poor decision makers part."

The last Oregon QB to throw double digit INTs played at Oregon before Chip Kelly got hired.

I don't think you want to cite any list that Tebow tops.

Seriously though, I think my point was lost here.

Brees is AMAZING. He blows Michael Vick out of any water ever.

I wasn't trying to deride Brees at all.

My point was that Brees turns it over a lot, and it doesn't really matter because their offense still scores in gobs.

As for the comparison to Ryan, both he and Brees are similar in adjusted yards per attempt. Ryan actually outpaced Brees by a yard in AY/A last season. I consider this more a compliment to Ryan than an insult to Brees when I say they are similar in this regard.

I'm one who said this and I'm not making any excuses.

Chip Kelly didn't sign or draft Michael Vick. He held an open QB battle and Vick won, which is Kelly's decision.

Vick has been a better player thus far than earlier in his career. Tonight he looked much more like Vick of old.

I think people who assume Kelly needs a runner don't know a lot about his offense. If that's what Kelly wanted he wouldn't have drafted Matt Barkley.

Above all, Kelly wants a smart, decisive QB. Being a runner is a "bonus" (his exact words). In that sense, Vick is not "his guy," as Vick has proven throughout his career that he's neither smart, nor decisive.

My argument is that the Eagles offense is already working (again, top 3 in points, top 3 in yards), but if they had a QB that could really run the offense the way he wants, they'd be remarkable.

I said it before the season, and I'll say it again, if Chip Kelly fails, it won't be because the offense "didn't work." But EVERYONE will blame it on that.
