Clay Matthews has been the most overrated player in football for at least the last five years.

Rodgers is currently suffering from the same fate as Peyton when he was in Indy. He’s consistently carrying an average roster to the playoffs and his front office takes it for granted and doesn’t make the necessary moves around him.

Rodgers is the best pure passer we've ever seen since Marino.

But that doesn't always translate to wins.

Best QB is best general which is different from best passer.

QB wears a lot of hats, not just slinging the ball.

Aaron Rodgers scored 45 points and threw for 423 yards and 4 TDs in his first playoff game ever.... for the LOSS. yeah its a team sport.. Brady threw for like 500 yards and 2 TDs and scored 60 points in the entire 2001 playoffs on his way to his first Superbowl

Tom Brady threw for 505 yards and 3 TDs in a Super Bowl for a loss. Rodgers only needs three more playoff losses to catch up to Brady's 10 while he needs 20 more playoff wins to match his record of 30.

This is why we go by overall stats and not one game scenarios

We all understand New England is a far better team. I thought this thread was about QBs?

Lets look at their playoff stats

Rodgers-

278.3 yds/game--63.5%--6.1 TD%--1.7 int%--99.4 rating

Brady

282.9 yds/game--63.2%--4.6 TD%--2.1 int%--90.5 rating

Lets actually go further with this

Some will say "It aint just stats. Its field general!!!"

Well, in the playoffs Aaron Rodgers led offenses score 29 pts on average

Brady led offenses score 27 pts on average

However, Rodgers defenses give up 26 pts while Bradys defenses give up 21 pts

Also, the cherry on top:

"Well brady keeps his offense on the field longer helping his defense!!!!!!"

Negative. Rodgers offenses average a better TOP than Brady's
