I have never liked that CLOSE,BIG,IMPORTANT,etc plays like this have to be challenged by coaches. The NFL is watching EVERYTHING, they should call for the look at the play to make sure, not a team having to chance a timeout as valuable as they can be

I recognize that I have far superior football instincts to the Niners coaching staff, but Smith’s behavior immediately after the play made it pretty obvious that something was up.
