It’s a good thing Roger and the NFL takes player safety serious by adding a game to the regular season and no extra bye weeks and on top of that, having teams play Sunday and then again on a Thursday at times.

Flag football would be way better and you wouldn't have so many contact injuries

Make it happen Goodell
No one wants to see injuries anymore
Women could be draft prospects into flag football

all in the guise of player safety

Iron sharpens iron.

Having played all the way through college, that is unequivocally true. We hit non stop through 2 a-days and through the non-conference schedule. After 60 days everyone was reborn hard.

The player safety issue a joke, you see it every weekend, where the powers that be turn a blind eye to players not wearing and blatantly flaunting the rules of what pads are supposed to be worn for bare minimum of player precautions. DB’s no knee, hip, or tailbone pads and O & D lineman wearing shoulder pads designed for a WR as opposed to a position that is guaranteed to receive contact on every single play.
