Where it gets tricky. Will be out of the Bears, Packers and Panthers. If Rodgers can come back soon, the Packers get in. 9-7 could get the last wild card IMO.

As a Lions fan, I DO NOT want to see GB in the playoffs.

4 of Detroit's 6 wins are by 1 score. I just think the record isn't reflective of the actual team's abilities.

They could just as easily be 3-6 right now.

...or, a shanked punt and pass interference call away from 8-1. It works both ways.

Chicago over Detroit is a laughable assertion at this point.

I think the Packers could go to Seattle and beat them.

If it works out like this

Lions vs Packers - Packers play @ Seattle

Cowboys vs 49ers - 49ers @ New Orleans

I think the Saints would actually have a chance of getting the NFC title game.

yeah if Rodgers comes back in time, I think they get in.

the Packers will really need to steal a game or two while he is out. Their game against the NY Giants this week is winnable. Then they have the Vikings after that.

Last year Detroit was 4-4 and lost their last 8, I wouldn't say it's laughable to predict them fading late in the season....

I agree but I think Panthers make it....49ers have a lot of injuries, too....

I'm surprised nobody's talked about the Cardinals, I thought that was my biggest reach.

Actually looking at it the 49ers have a really tough schedule down the stretch I could see them fading especially with Kaep's sophomore slump.

Shhhhhh there was a poster on here that said this would happen, even after he torched GB, and people called him stupid. I'd look out.

the lions struggled against a team sporting a limping QB, two rookie starting LBs, and a starting DT who had recently been acquired from the practice squad.

while it may be the Lions division to lose, id say their history and recent play make that seem more than likely.

they are really tough to beat at home. They've already beat Carolina and Detroit out there.

they play @ JAX this week. Should be a win.

then after that, they get IND at home.

I agree with all of this except for I would have the Panthers in there as the 5 seed and the 49ers as the 6 (Panthers hold the tie breaker over SF and SF still has to play Seattle, @Arizona and @NO). I actually think that the Panthers have a decent shot at winning the division. Does anybody know who would win the tiebreaker between the Saints and the Panthers if they split?
