This doesn't seem too hard to comprehend. And you said that this doesn't seem any different than any other game's trash talk. I think I understood you just fine

Odell Beckham is nothing short of an outstanding ambassador for our university

Do you remember him going up to opposing players with it and there being reports that he was going to end someone's career? Do you also remember it being done during warm ups and not when they were being introduced coming out of the tunnel?
Do you remember the part where I said he did this? No, me neither.
I'm pointing out that bats have been used before on football fields.
You're making way too big of a deal out of this.

Good thing I didn't say you said that.

Not like they were in this incident. Bringing up Reggie in '09 is pretty irrelevant.

No, I was just pointing out the very obvious differences between the two situations.

You know he threatened him with the bat? This is fact?
No

Which he are we talking about here? What's your end game Mr You're Making Too Much Of This? Because it seems like that's exactly what you're trying to do right now.
The only fact is that the '09 bat "situation" (is you can even call it that) is basically nothing like this past Sunday's.

Yeah, I think that a player walking up to an opposing player with a bat and threatening o end their career is an isolated incident.

No
What more do you need?

No, it isn't isolated but Josh Norman crossed a line that a player shouldn't cross. This isn't the first time a team tried to cheap shot & intimidate Beckham either. An alpha male will only be pushed so far before he bucks back.

Well before this incident Sunday, Rodney Harrison had this to say about Norman. Remember that Harrison was an intimidating, trash talking safety himself. Harrison job at NBC causes him to watch plenty of film so it appears he very aware of Norman's antics.
quote:
"Last night I got about 8 and a half hours of sleep" Harrison said. "I don't give a damn about Josh Norman or what he has to say about me. I don't give a damn about Josh Norman and what he thinks about me. He's playing football. Everything that he's trying to do, I've done. I've been All Pro. I've played in Super Bowls.
"If he wants to use [Harrison's position on Julio Jones] as motivation, that's fine," Harrison said. "I hope he goes on to have a successful career. I want to see young men make it. I want that. I don’t hate Josh Norman and I don’t care what he says. And yes he’s misinformed about the information that he’s talking about as well.
quote:
"So It doesn't matter to me. That’s the thing that he doesn’t understand. And like I said if he wants to make it personal, I’m not afraid of Josh Norman. We can always buckle up in the boxing ring and have a match and once I knock him out, then I’ll get up and give him a cold ice tea."

I think the issue is that he said he was going to end his career, and then a few plays into the game he tried to body slam him
for 1, that was a flop by Beckham. For 2, he instigated it. For 3, the only player that didnt anything remotely close to inflicting career ending harm was Odell.

Tangible? Lol. Nice usage
so someone gives an explanation and your response is "you don't understand the law". I ask you to explain and you respond " I will when you cite something substantial in my eyes".
So, you need to look up what fallacies are before we continue.

You gave no explanation of anything. You posted some random information and declared that you were right about something. I'm still waiting on you to cite one law that was broken. You can't even figure that out, so why would I have a debate with you about hypotheticals?

You mean the video where Beckham walked towards the dude with the bat and took his helmet off? Didn't see too distressed or worried about being hit with the bat.
The bat is a smoke screen and many posters took the bait running.

Not sure what else to tell you, it's pretty clear. I replied to one specific thing, you came in and quoted my reply and applied it incorrectly to something else.
I guess maybe reread it? Not sure what else to tell you, it wasn't that difficult to grasp IMO.

No end game. Baseball bats don't belong on football fields.
