Going to New Orleans this weekend and plan to play a round of golf Sunday Morning. Any suggestions on which course I should play?

Just played TPC on Saturday. It's still in great shape after the Zurich classic. And Lakewood is a fine choice as well.

I also like Audubon if you are going to be uptown and can get a cheap rate. The scenery is nice.

Not sure if serious.

Brechtel is a stone's throw from Lakewood and used to be a decent option, considering it was $10-$12 for a round of golf, but fell into disrepair post-Katrina once the irrigation system died and has been closed for years.

Is Brechtel even still open?

ETA: Nevermind, I see the answer below.

I'd give up golf completely before playing here again. Worst course I've ever played.

Well, everyone agrees that Lakewood is probably the best option. I called them and the earliest tee time was 10:15. I need a tee time around 8:30ish so I can't go there. TPC is really really expensive!
