its just a waste of time....make these mofos join the B1G and earn their place the hard way just like everyone else.

They more than earned the right to be in the game. They are just outclassed and that’s okay.

You may have missed it but it's a 12 team playoff now and they won 3 games leading up to this game in it.

Public schools in SEC country aren't very good. Be patient

Nebraska would have won maybe two games in the sec this year. So GFY.

They actually earned their way into this one. No complaints.

Ohio State is just the better team.

We’ve seen a lot of teams get boat raced in the playoffs/finals over the years.

You know they beat the SEC champ to get here, right?

The fish eating leprechauns need to join a conference or else be ineligible for the playoffs.

This was very much a "Tiger Woods vs the field" kind of year with Ohio State and everyone else. Nobody was going to hang with an OSU team firing on all cylinders. ND came about as close as can be expected.

Since UGA-Bama 2017, this was the closest margin of victory in a national championship game out of the 7 NCGs played, and probably the 2nd-closest game out of the 7 in terms of how it actually played out (behind UGA-Bama 2021).

ND beat 2 straight top-5 teams and 3 straight top-10 teams (including two from the B1G and the SEC Champs) to get there. OSU (when focused/motivated…) was just a buzzsaw this year.

The spread was 9.5 and ND lost by 11.

Ohio State beat Tennessee and Oregon by a hundred. And Texas by 14.

Once OSU flipped the switch in the postseason, it was over. Having Chip Kelly as your OC doesn't hurt either.
