Could these 2 conferences take 2 teams each this year as a one time thing??
Put the 4 divisions in a hat and let the head coaches for each team draw so there would be no bias in where they go.

No dammit.
This isn't a video game, you can't just have conferences breaking off and joining others in 15 days' time. Notre Dame is already practically an ACC member anyway so that was an easy transition. You can't just stick Nebraska in the ACC for the frick of it

Also 3 of those schools voted against playing football. Nebraska is the only one I could see playing and it’s probably gonna be as an independent for just this year

Oh you mean kind of like when you play a bowl game and don't know your opponent but 15 days in advance. This is a bullshite argument. Anything is possible. The season doesn't start for 6 weeks there is time.

Why would the presidents of PSU OSU and Michigan allow their schools to play football in those conferences after voting against it this weekend?

You do realize there are TV deals, contracts, etc and other legalese when it comes to scheduling games right?

frick OSU, UM, and Penn State. Panty waisted Dweebs are running the Big 10. We don't need any of that polluting the SEC.

Ohio State and Penn State look like they both voted to play on the same schedule as the SEC
And Ryan Day just said today against his athletic director they are still trying to find a way to play wherever that is.
Michigan. Definitely pussy.

OSU, PSU, and UM voted against playing already. If Nebraska still wants to play, the only way I can see it happening is if they went at it as an independent and got a schedule together with other schools who still want to play despite their conferences cancelling

Any schools in cancelled conferences would probably have to play an independent schedule. If that’s even possible with tv deals. But they won’t be joining another conference for a season
