if all SEC teams have a loss they wouldn't really deserve a spot over Oregon or ND.

That being said, the winner of that game will have an asterisks next to their title bc they side stepped having to beat an SEC team

This and they will not beat USC

People keep saying this.
Is anyone watching USC?
They're not going to run on ND - who is stout as hell. And then Barkley is gonna be Barkley...meaning, throw the ball out of bounds on sideline routes.
USC scored 17 offensive points against UW.
ND hasn't allowed a TD in something like 4 games.

1 loss SEC team is in no matter. However, How in the world people saying an undefeated Oregon does not get in are cracked.
PAC 10 and SEC will still be playing and ND will have been sitting at home for 2 weeks.

There's no reason to put in a 1-loss SEC team over an undefeated Oregon or an undefeated Notre Dame.
They're not Boise State, brah.

are you trolling or do you really believe that an undefeated ND would be left out of the title game. That is freaking hilarious

Notre Dame's front 7 is pretty good. They still aren't on the same caliber as Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, etc but they are good. Their secondary isn't that great in my opinion. Notre Dame's offense (especially quarterback) is very average. Oklahoma will beat them by a pretty good margin in my opinion. Something to the tune of 28-10.

It's not like past BCS Championship games featured two non-SEC teams in the past.
The horror if that ever happened...

Notre Dame, for once, is a pretty damn good team this year
They have no Offense. Their D is amazing but they wont be undefeated and neither will Oregon.

Notre Dames front 7 is as good as LSU. LSU has the better 2's, but the starters are the same level.

Neither will be undefeated IMO. Oregon has to play Oregon state who should be in the top 10 today, USC ( maybe twice), and Stanford. ND has @USC and @Oklahoma. We control our own destiny.
Oregon is gonna lose this Thursday at ASU. BOOK IT!

Dude just shut it down...big difference b/t what WILL happen and what my opinion SHOULD happen. Hence, my thread earlier.
There's no doubt in my mind that an undefeated ND WILL be put in, my opinion is not at the expense of an undefeated Oregon. That's all. My opinion is OU would boatrace them , just like they have been boatraced in every bowl game for the past 20 yrs. So stop with the silly BS
MYou are making my arguement for me, your putting in ND b/c of their namesake and not on merit. ND couldn't stay on the field with LSU, USCe, Bama, or UF or Oregon. So why the frick should they play for the game that decides who the best team in the country is??

I doubt it. I wouldn't be overly surpised if ASU won. However, the ASU oline looks like a deficit and the short passing game is going to get eat up by Oregon's defense. I am not sold on Kelly being able to stretch the Oregon defense vertically when the RBs are the main passing threats.
On offense, Oregon can go big on the dline and front seven that is undersized. Likewise, the depth will catch up in the second half.

You're hilarious.
You don't even see that you're using the past as the same justification for your argument.

Oh I see it, I can slide one in there time to time, but it's not the premise of my arguement.

I do. I think we'd get in over Oregon personally. Hopefully USC can take on from both or either of them
Are you drunk? They play Oregon State, Stanford, and USC(probably twice). Nobody is jumping them. The question is if USC would jump us if they beat Oregon twice.

Yeah, LSU would throw all over them.
