It's on right now. Getting into the higher weights.

I guess these are the earlier rounds. Will be going on the next few days with the Championships on Saturday..

Boy from Alabama is the 2 seed and in the quarterfinals at 125. The south needs college wrestling.

I pondered making a thread earlier this morning about the ncaa wrestling championships. We usually have one annually around this time. You beat me to it. Go Hawkeyes they should win it all and bring the title back to where it rightfully belongs finally. They would have probably won it last year going away had it not been canceled.

Watch Spencer Lee, 125 pounder for Iowa. Dude will be an Olympic champion in the near future. He is a machine as is Gable Steveson from Minnesota at HWT.

To the clowns that will post stupid crap in this thread (which always happens)... wrestling is by far the most demanding sport there is. These guys are true BA's.

Been watching with my kids throughput the day. We’ve been watching dual meets during the season and my kids had trouble with the fast paced production today. I’m hoping the later rounds will show the whole matches.
The Campbelll kid Heil got hosed with the clock issues in OT.

If he makes it to the finals then that would be awesome. Getting beat by him would be worth it.

Penn State has a guy named Aaron Brooks. I wonder if he laughs when he gets pinned.

I wrestled in HS and enjoyed the hell out of it. Wish it was advertised more. But I get it, you like it or you don’t. Especially if you have wrestled or if you haven’t. If you haven’t I easily see how it is not entertaining.

My kids will be wrestling, not just because I think it’s a great sport, but most fight go to the ground and if you know wht you’re doing you’re going to get out of that situation.

Edit:spelling

Brooks is damn good and dominated his match. He is a sophomore, so this is his first Championship tournament (since last year was canceled). He is the top seed in his weight class and looks like he will be a force for years to come.

I didn't realize how loaded PSU has become, 8 out of the last 9 team titles. That is beyond a dynasty. Why isn't that talked about more?

Big Ten Network did a great piece on him two weeks ago and his internal drive. Really good watch.

As of this morning, these are the point totals..

Iowa 33.5
PSU 28
Missouri 23.5
NC State 21
OK ST 20
Arizona ST 19.5

Seems like a huge lead for Iowa. They have completed the first 2 rounds and there are 3 left (not including consolation matches). I know that both Iowa and PSU advanced 8 guys each..
