Literally they knew in October last year and let Michigan finish out a regular season and playoff season, when they knew they cheated to accomplish those feats. It was an actual opportunity for the NCAA to take action during the season and show some balls.

If OSU had done this I would have expected a result during the season as well.

I am far too mature to base my life off of a game. In fact, I was diving on the great barrier reef the day of the OSU/Michigan game. I was in literally one of the most beautiful places in the world so I had no reason to be upset

I am just pointing out that there was every opportunity to take care of it during the year and figure out the severity of the punishment then and there. They didn't do it.

so punish players and staff members who had nothing to do with it but don't do anything to the players/coaches who did. Never change NCAA

What can they realistically do to Harbaugh and Stallions at this point?

And if they are banned from postseason play in 2025 and 2026 then players will know and they can decide not to enroll at Michigan or transfer out.

You have to punish the program and not just the coaches because if you just pin it on the individuals then you will just create a cycle of different groups doing the exact same thing for 3-5 years over and over at the same place and the program just pointing the finger at them with no accountability from the AD or school.

This is a nothing burger. The NCAA is a toothless and the playoff has nothing to do with the NCAA. If the NCAA tries to ban them from the playoffs it will just fast track the end of the NCAA and will give the BIG and SEC more momentum to start their own organization.

The NCAA needs to die today.

My absolute favorite thing about the MSB is seeing the Ohio St fans flock to a thread every time something Michigan is mentioned. Even start a chargers thread, they will be in that thing.

Almost like OSU fans care about Michigan cheating more than any other fanbase as it directly impacted games they played.

I wonder if that could be it...hmmm mystery mystery

Look I can’t stand the Buckeyes locusts anymore than any other God-loving American Southern male and if Michigan was just spying on Ohio State I probably wouldn’t be concerned much at all about it. However, that’s not what took place here. They were spying on every Big Ten team for multiple years as well as several out of conference playoff level teams.

If there is no severe punishment for this then they will just start doing it again and other schools will follow suit.

if you define spying as recording signals during games in front of 80k other people with a personal iPhone that ANYONE could have done, then yeah, it was spying.

BTW, it wasn't even anyone on our staff who obtained the sh*tty iPhone footage. it was all 3rd party, which is not illegal per NCAA rules

I spy on about 5-6 games every Saturday in the fall. Sometimes I even record and watch certain plays multiple times.
