This projection is pretty good. Interesting that a local site has no Louisiana schools at either LSU or ULL but it works well.

southeastern might have to be a 3 seed by default, even tho they didn't win the regular season or tournament in the southland.
4 seeds
alabama state (even tho their record is crazy, still a 4 with a shitty RPI)
bethune-cookman
fairfield
utah valley
navy
princeton
rhode island
western michigan
oral roberts (could maybe be a 3, but really deserve a 4)
binghamton
western carolina
stetson
william & mary
xavier (in the same boat as oral roberts)
so that's 13-14 auto-qualifying teams that are almost for sure going to be 4 seeds. southeastern should avoid that slot.

yeah, i don't see that happening tho
eta: interesting that they have lsu as a national seed, but not paired with ULL's regional. or even tcu.
i would say a&m should for sure be paired with tcu, but they were paired together last year in the supers.
my prediction: lsu paired with tcu. a&m paired with ULL. just flip flop the matchups from last year (even tho i know ULL wasn't a regional host last year).

Just looking at it, the thing that makes sense is how it seems to adhere to the 400 mile travel rule really well.

Yeah if Southeastern is in then they'll be a 3 seed. 4 seeds will go to the auto bids.
I don't know about that projection. I don't think the committee gives Louisiana two hosts then ships the other 3 schools elsewhere.

Final D1 baseball projection is out
louisiana tech as a 2 at lsu.
tulane (2) and southeastern (3) at ULL
they also have ULL paired with a&m, which i think is likely. honestly, i think this projection is going to end up being REALLY good. they have a&m as the #1 overall seed, which i think is going to be correct. and ULL is probably the worst regional host on paper so it makes sense both competitively and geographically

I def think they will a pair us with the Vandy Regional. We always play those guys in the NCAA's every year it seems

yes,sportsnola made a reasonable effort to actually place teams in regionals based on seeding (although I don't know how they come up with Miss State as the #5 overall seed).

But LSU is like a 6-8 seed; ULL is 15 or 16. They don't pair well together.

I'm going to guess La Tech to BR as a 2. Tulane to Oxford as a 2. Southern Miss as a 2 in Lafayette and Southeastern as a 3 in Lafayette

Tulane is the weaker 2 seed so they should be sent to a stronger host (Ole Miss)
