NBC Sports Network is awful so far

I keep trying to watch it, but there's some guy grilling burgers right now.
A fishing show is coming on at 1.
Another fishing show coming at 1:30.
Poker from 2-3.
Then there is rally car shite on later.
Come on...

I never acted like they'd be some awesome network, really. I said they have the means to try to poach some good leagues in the next 10 years or so.
I also think they need to play up their hockey and MLS deals more than what they're doing. They have a niche crowd there, they need to pander to it and not to rednecks.

they have an UA game preview on at like 4 or 5 eastern.
That's a good step in the right direction, but they need to fill their time with more relevant sports 24 hours a day

While I agree, it's also possible they think the redneck crowd is larger than the hockey/soccer crowd.

Their main focus is hockey, which no one gives a shite about. The other day they had some shite about bass fishing. Here I was hoping they would provide a better product as opposed to ESPN, yet it's worse. They say it's a 24 hour sports network yet after midnight they show infomercials.

Doesn't seem like these are mutually exclusive. Just because we're tired of ESPN personalities it doesn't mean we want to watch a redneck grill burgers.
