Much better than "not a rookie" or "he's a rookie". Not to mention they've undergone a process that didn't involve tanking.

Rozier is trolling the hell out of Eric Bledsoe. Wore a Drew Bledsoe jersey to the game. When asked about it afterwards said "I've never met him, but I know who he is and I think he knows who I am"

eric bledsoe was being lil bitch lol

Brad Stevens is doing this without Kyrie and Hayward. Celtics are going to be a problem next year.

Danny Ainge has done one of the best rebuilding jobs I've ever seen. They are legit contenders to come out of the East without their 2 best players. They have nailed their draft picks, free agency and trades.

Kyrie
Hayward
Tatum
Brown
Horford
Rozier
Morris
Smart

They need 1 more rim protector but that's as versatile a team as you're going to see. Brown and Tatum can play 3 positions offensively and can guard 4. They don't miss much when Kyrie comes off for Rozier, and those dudes can play together. Other than Horford they are all young and he's in great shape. They can run offense through like 6 dudes. Not to mention they have the best young coach in basketball. If they are healthy next year they will win the East no matter where LeBron is, imo.

Just wait until they take Bamba and he reaches his full potential/becomes Gobert with a better offensive game.

Or Jackson. Doubt he gets to them but he would be perfect.

Eta they don't have that pick.

The Laker pick won’t convey most likely but we do have Sac 1st next year top 1 protected. We also have Clippers and Mem picks coming up. Ainge is a wizard. Thank the good lord Miami’s dumbass didn’t take the like four first round picks we offered for Winslow.

The Lakers pick will absolutely convey because it was at one point the Suns pick and all we know as far as the draft lottery is misery. Watch it go to #2 and the Suns drop to #4

Yeah. Morey is pretty open about Ainge being the best GM out there.

Celtics coaching and the basketball acumen of their players is second only to GS and possibly Houston.

Philly was outclassed coaching wise all night. Made Simmons look like a rook.

I cant say enough about Stephens as a coach. He is the real deal and has a chance to put his name among the greatest ever before his career ends.

I thought it was Charlotte they offered it to since Winslow was available where they took Kaminsky. Regardless the depth of young talent Boston has is frightening. And these units are getting extended playoff runs together for the times Hayward/Kyrie are off the floor next year. They inevitably won’t be able to keep everyone but they still have plenty of picks to restock

Am I crazy to think that Kyrie should be traded for a good rim protector or versatile big?

Seriously think Brown-Tatum are untouchable considering how young they are and they're already this good defensively. Offensively they're going to steadily improve, Brown already showed a huge leap that Brandon Ingram wishes he could.

I mean Hayward could realistically make them what Milwaukee wants to be (a bunch of wings lol), except they could shoot from everywhere and defend anyone and anywhere.

It was Six total picks, four first rounders to move to 9th. Man that would have sucked arse.

To go from 16 (Rozier) to 9

I want to see what we have at least one year of a healthy roster before we start breaking it up and dealing away pieces.

I haven't kept us with his recovery at all and I'm sure they wouldn't chance it... but is there any possibility of Hayward playing if they make it to theECF or Finals?

ETA: I know Stevens said no way but Hayward himself didn't seem to agree

True, no need to rush. Can likely do a S&T since I'm 100% sure he's going to opt out in 2019, so there's always that option as well.

If they can somehow keep Smart and Baynes this offseason, their roster is seriously just missing a rim protecting center.

PG: Irving/Smart/Rozier
SG: Hayward/Brown
SF: Tatum/Brown
PF: Horford/Morris
C: Baynes

Scary small-ball line up
Irving-Brown-Hayward-Tatum-Horford

All 5 can shoot from 3: lowest career is actually Gordon Hayward (36.8). But taking into account this year/last year:
Kyrie shot 40%
Hayward shot 40%
Brown's career is 38%
Tatum shot 43%
Horford shot 39%

All 5 can defend well: Brown-Hayward-Tatum can defend 1-4. Horford can defend 4-5. Kyrie can defend most PGs

Plus next year Semi is a good D, Rozier and Mook are under contract. Theis comes back healthy. We can add some vets ring chasing potentially. Where ever BronBron goes, Stevens and this roster will give him hell.
