Big ups to Memphis. They got something with Fizdale. Conley showed why he deserves that contract. Keep on building for the future. I like Green, Ennius, and Daniels

Houston.....your Daddy is home, belt in hand

I don't like it one bit, but I'm taking Houston after watching the 1st round. They're clicking on all cylinders, and San Antonio just lacks the fire power. I don't like it and hope I'm wrong, but that's my guy instinct.

Houston very well could win, but I don't think you can use the first series as a barometer. Griz are polar opposites from the rockets. If anything, Spurs should shoot lights out because they will be able to run a competent offense again. Gonna be a good one.

Gonna be a fun one. Memphis makes offenses look bad in the playoffs Houston will have to deal with a team with a modicum of a bench this round (and better three point defense).

5-6 gamer, with possibly every game being decided by single digits.

I'm well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the Southwest. More than anything I don't like the matchup for SAS. They have competent defenders for Kawhi/Aldridge/Parker in Ariza/Capela/Beverly. Not world beaters but still decent. I don't see anyone checking Harden as good as Kawhi/Green are if they are going to officiate him the same way as they did the OKC series. He's literally unguardable if you're going to punish defenders with 3 free throws for going over the top of screens. San Antonio defends the three point line very well (best in NBA), but the Rockets are just a different animal with so many weapons. I don't think SAS will derp late like Westbrook did in that series though. I don't know. I'm not super confident in picking Houston, but they'd be my pick nonetheless. If there's a coach primed to give Houston fits running that offense though, it's Pop.

Agree with every point you made.

It'll definitely come down to late game execution. Pop has fared well against D'Antoni in that regard, so I'm hoping that plays out again. Harden is a gamebreaker, though.
