Surprised to not see more commentary from Matt Moore. Might have fallen asleep.

Drummond nearing agreement on max, per Marc Stein. 5/130-ish.

ESPN is reporting Whiteside is staying in Miami

Whiteside to stay with Heat:
LINK
Dallas Mavericks: Where finishing in second in free agency has become tradition
It's seriously becoming expected at this point. Never really got too excited about Whiteside for this reason. Like his brethren in Dallas, Jerry Jones, amazing owner, shitty GM

some greek big and Tyler Johnson

Tyler Johnson. As in the white dude from Miami?
Portland going all in on Parsons means they can only bring one of Crabbe, Harkless, Leonard back

wouldnt mind Leonard... think Harkless is gonna get too much for what he brings at the moment, and I dont really trust the Pels to develop him
Dell needs to be after Terrance Jones IMO

Terrence Jones played like one of the worst players I've ever seen in the NBA this past season. He was beyond terrible.
Ever since he had that nerve injury in his leg more than a year ago where he couldn't move or feel his leg for months, he hasn't been the same.
As a fan of another team, you might not be aware of the massive decline of T-Jones.

Hawks are going to sit on their hands again this off-season. Horford and Bazemore will walk. Howard will sign elsewhere, as will KD. We will re-sign Humphries and some random big or probably bring Tavares back up for good. Then we'll throw stupid money at Dellavadova as if he's some savior at the guard position and regret it immediately.

Looks like Baze will be getting around 20 mill. I can't blame us for not matching that.
Posted on 7/1/16 at 7:49 am to Smoke7024
I just saw Mozgov signed for $16 million a year
Posted on 7/1/16 at 7:52 am to Smoke7024
Yea, I can see us not bringing Baze back at that price, but it's just disheartening to see the Hawks linked to a RFA in Dellavadova and then an outside shot at Dwight Howard. Horford has said he won't re-sign with us until we show improvement in the team with FA signings. So essentially by us sitting on our hands, we are telling Horford that we don't plan on doing much to keep him.

yea, I really don't know what the Lakers are thinking with giving him that much money.

i keep seeing this from Hawks fans. Did KD ever even show interest or agree to a sit down with Atlanta?
