Yeah but the Pelicans gave the contract knowing full well the cap was going way up with the television money.
Fair point

Mike Bresnahan ?@Mike_Bresnahan Lakers would rather get Mozgov for less $$ than Whiteside. Also, Lakers assistant Brian Shaw coached him in Denver.
Biyombo is also waiting to give Toronto the first shot so maybe that's part of it idk

Ther are gonna be so many non NBA fans who don't know the cap situation going apeshit over these new deals
shite, it's gonna take the real fans a little while to get used to these numbers

I love Pop, and he can afford to do what he wants because he's Pop
But could you imagine some young coach or GM who lost a star player because he would rather go to sleep? They would never hear the end of it

The Spurs now are what the Lakers used to be. The organization sells itself.

i mean, health is obviously a big concern for that team. i feel like it would take them forever to figure out how to play together. sort of like the nets in 2014.
that nets team finished as the 6 seed in the east. that's about where i'd peg this knicks team.

I'm super happy for BAEzmore but super sad. I fricking love that dude and no way are we shelling out 20 million.
I think I've talked myself into wanting Barnes somehow

despite the fact that there are no real superstars in this free agent class (i don't count durant, he's not leaving okc), this looks like it'll be one of the most exciting summers ever.
