if they're willing to pay for it.
there's the rub... not to mention there is very little chance of everyone staying perfectly happy enough, even while winning, to stay there... lots of guys are gonna see their roles diminished/changed and we will see how they respond to that...

ESPN's Marc Stein and Tim MacMahon report that the Mavericks plan to proceed with a max offer sheet for restricted free agent Harrison Barnes.
Dallas will get their man after Kevin Durant's decision to spurn OKC for Golden State. Per Stein, the offer will be a four-year, $94 million deal that the Warriors will not match. For the Mavs, Barnes will replace Chandler Parsons in the offense and stands to inherit a significantly larger role than he ever enjoyed with the Warriors. We're going to have to see a lot more from Barnes before buying into the idea he can operate as a primary option on a good team, but he'll certainly have the opportunity in Dallas.

Let's look at OKC for a sec, they gotta trade Westbrook right? No way he returns next season

Westbrook will be there next season

Lost in all of this is that Dallas will be building around Barnes. Cuban

do they HAVE to? no.... but they would be stupid not to, unless they can swing a pretty good deal for someone of worth, like, right now....

again, if they don't get him help, then no... he's for sure not coming back... and i wouldn't blame him.... OKC had one job... one job!!

Cut off the part about Durant bitching about this shite in 2010
So, tell me again why I should care about the opinion of a guy you call "Screaming"
You're not making any sense right now.

Durant is being a hypocrite that's the point

Warriors didn't win the finals. They want to win, he wants to win.
Won the most games in the regular season ever. Why don't I hear about 73 wins anymore? You guys kept hammering us over the head with that for the past 3 months.
KD left to join a 73 win team. They should've won the championship.

They have to get ahead of the curve and deal Westbrook.
To lose:
1a) Reggie Jackson
x) Durant
y) Westbrook
z) Harden
...with nothing to show for it is just a catastrophic squandering of talent.

The Harrison Barnes and Kevin Durant dynamic should be great during the olympics, when KD took your spot and banished you to dallas
