I think you have issues with dissenting opinions which kind of takes away the idea of discussion.
Seems like this all started because I dared to question the match between LeBron and the Lakers. Given you and David Ricky are mega-Lakers fans you weren't too fond of that. I also questioned Kawhi going to the Lakers which I think also rubbed you (and MSB Lakers fans) the wrong way as well.
The last thing I questioned was when the resident Lakers fans were propping KCP as 42% 3pt shooter because he did it over 25 games, treating that stat as if it would translate to a full season.
Just questioning basketball points, nothing major.

Agreed on Houston needing either an actual championship or plural conf finals vs eventual winner or better yet plural finals.
See Utah more than 1 finals. 2 hof and a 3rd star hornacek.
See Chicago Sloan and Chet walker hof. Van lier 3rd star.
Lost in 7 to wilt, west, Baylor, 2 in OT.
Imho Better than these Houston rockets.
None of Utah, Chicago or this Houston in same breath with actual champs Larry Celtics or magic lakers or wilts 67 phila with multiple hofers.

I see it like this. A single good year with no ring is a conversation about good teams without a title.
Those one year things just don't last. Heck, Steve Nash's Suns teams had multiple 60+ win seasons and they're an afterthought. Last year's Rockets weren't even the best non-title team in the last 5 years. That was the 15-16 Warriors.
The all time teams establish a run. At this point, the LeBron Cavs are far closer to that level than the Rockets.

I never said they were lying, not even once.
I believed they were exaggerating the Lakers interest over others. (Obvious why they'd hype lakers)
Now we know the certainty of Kawhi to the Lakers wasn't ever a thing except in media circles. If anything the Clippers are probably the lead dog.
ESPN was literally running numbers on a roster of Paul George, Lebron and Kawhi before Lebron even committed.
It's all hot air. Doesn't mean there isnt a smidgen of truth to it.
